Position Overview:
Mustang Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring an experienced Travel Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Amarillo, TX. This position supports an adult Med/Surg patient population in a hospital inpatient setting.

Schedule:
Night shift
4x12-hour shifts per week
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Rotating weekends and holidays
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Orientation: 24 hours

Compensation:
Total Weekly Compensation: $2,350.00
Weekly Tax-Free Travel Stipend: $1,246.00
Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,104.00
Regular Hourly Rate: $23.00
Overtime Rate: $34.50
Bonus: $250 initial week + $250 final week

Unit Overview:
Med/Surg unit with adult patient population
Estimated patient ratios: approximately 1:5
Floating to equivalent or lower-acuity units required

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience
BLS (BCLS) certification required
EPIC charting experience required
Ability and willingness to float within the organization
Valid Compact RN license or Texas RN license at time of submission
Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
Previous travel RN experience preferred
