School Psychologist (K–12)
Location: Columbia, SC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Contract Length: 2025–26 School Year
Compensation:
Travel Package: Up to $3,010/week
Local Rate: Up to $2,625/week
About the Role
Mustang Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for the 2025–2026 academic year in Columbia, South Carolina. This full-time contract role supports students across grades K–12 and offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and behavior intervention plans
Provide individual and group counseling to students
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal policies
✅ Requirements
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology
Certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist in South Carolina
Experience working with K–12 students preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable with on-site work; hybrid may be considered
Compensation Options
Travel Package:
Weekly Total: $3,010.50
Taxable Pay: $1,687.50 ($45/hr)
Weekly Stipend: $1,323.00
Overtime Rate: $67.50/hr
Local Package:
Weekly Total: $2,625.00
Hourly Rate: $70.00
Overtime Rate: $105.00/hr
