Location: Jacksonville, FL (*** REMOTE ***)
Duration: 12+ Months

Green Card and US Citizens only

Must be strong using GIT Labs.

Candidates are able to work remote. All remote candidates will be required to work onsite for the first 4 weeks. This will ensure you learn the FB processes as well as a chance to meet other developers testers and the project teams. After the first 4 weeks are completed resources will be required to come in on a quarterly basis for approximately a week.

Summary:
. This role will contribute to the continuous improvement and standards definition of common processes that will be implemented to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of software applications. 
. You will be part of a development team in order to improve our build, integration & deployment procedures, automated build pipeline, and CI/CD systems.
. You must possess a solid understanding of building pipelines, integration, deployment tools, and experience in automating these processes. 
. You will be working closely with developers, testers and product teams to properly and efficiently build and deploy releases throughout the software development life cycle as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments.
. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work in a dynamic and complex software build environment and enjoys optimizing build environments for speed and reliability.

Must Have Skillsets:
. 4+ years of Build & Release and DevOps experience.
. Deep understanding of version control systems (Git, SVN etc.), including branching and merging strategies. Currently using Github
. Experience with continuous delivery and integration tools: Jenkins (required) Nexus and Artifactory (nice to have)
. Experience with build/SCM tools: Maven (required) Gradle and NPM (desired)
. Experience writing build scripts using Python and Bash (required), Unix Shell or Perl (nice to have)
. Experience with automation/configuration management using Chef (required) Puppet and Ansible (nice to have)
. Hands-on Unix/Linux knowledge
. Experience with AWS capabilities and architecture (highly desired)
. Ability to provide after-hours support as needed for emergency or urgent situations

Nice to have Skillsets:
. Working knowledge of modern application monitoring tools (ELK)
. Working knowledge of DB/Data Platforms: Kafka, MongoDB, Hadoop, HBase, Solr
